AUTOMATED MESSAGES I sent an automated message this afternoon regarding bus 148. We heard that the voicemail didn't attach, so I re-recorded and sent it a second time. The computer calls folks throughout the evening. Please listen to the voicemail, and if you still have questions call during school hours. 99% of the time, by the time you get an automated call, we will have already left for the day. REMINDER: We have been allowed to continue providing free lunch for all students this year. However, we are being asked that all families complete the Free/Reduced paperwork this year. (We didn't have to do this last year due to Covid 19 waivers). THANK YOU to all those who have returned this to school, but we are still short about 175 applications. SCHOOL SPIRIT DAY TOMORROW!! Tomorrow students are encouraged to wear harp gear, or school colors (red/black) to celebrate their school spirit. GO HAWKS!!

ADDITIONAL TAGS HAVE ARRIVED If you need a second car tag, we can now help you with that. Just send a note with your student. We will create the tag and put it in your student's backpack for you. Thank you.

WE ARE VERY, VERY SORRY!! Today was the longest dismissal in the history of Harp Elementary. It took well over an hour for some parents to pick up their Hawk, which has never happened. We have many more students than we've had in the past, but that doesn't excuse the extremely long wait you had today. We now have car tags in the hands of most of our families, so things should go faster starting tomorrow. Thank you for your patience as we worked through the process today. Tomorrow will be faster!

CAR RIDER INFORMATION - HOW WE DO IT Parents, One of the toughest things about the location of Harp, is the car rider situation. We fully understand how difficult it can be (especially in the afternoon) with traffic. Please, please be patient with each other and with the staff assigned to pick-up/drop off. We have multiple staff assigned to help, but nothing is as important and you watching your speed, watching for kids, and being patient during these times. Thank you, in advanced, for your support and understanding. Please refer to the map below on how to enter, and where to pick up your kids. Helpful Hints: Please have your car tag hanging until your student gets into the car Please do not park in the car line and walk your student to the door Please do not talk on your cell phone while on campus

CAR TAGS Parents, Due to the amazing turnout last night, we stopped handing out car tags to more quickly allow you to move through the line. Beginning on Monday, we will have staff meet you in the car line and hand out car tags. Thanks!
