HARP FAMILIES:
The Northwest Arkansas Food Bank will join Tyson Foods, Hiland Dairy, Harris Baking, and the Northwest Arkansas Naturals to host a drive-through food distribution event on Saturday, May 9th at Arvest Ballpark in Springdale.
The event will run from 8:00 a.m. - noon or while supplies last.
2,000 food boxes will be distributed by the food bank. Tyson Foods will donate three truckloads or 120,000 pounds of protein to the food bank’s feeding agencies and community members. Milk will be donated by Hiland Dairy and bread will be donated by Harris Baking. Please see the map.

Please plan to attend a Teacher Appreciation Parade tomorrow (Wednesday, April 6). The parade will begin at 12:00 in front of Harp. You will stay in your car and drive around the school...teachers will be on the sidewalks to wave and say hello to you!! (Remember to stay in your car!). To join the parade you must enter in the front entrance coming off of Butterfield Coach Road. Officer Aini will lead the parade in his police car! (Please see the parade map). SEE YOU TOMORROW!!

AMI PACKET PICK-UP!!
It is time to pick-up your final AMI packets. Instead of mailing, we will be handing them out. You may come to school to pick up your packets Thursday 9-2, Friday 9-2, and Saturday 10 - Noon. ((You can drop off any completed work, or library books at this time as well)). Please stay in your car...we'll ask you who you are picking up for and will bring the packet and leave it by your car on a table. You will then get out, pick up the packet, and leave anything you want to turn in...We will be using social distancing and protective gear.

We have boxes (with grade levels) in front of Harp for you to drop off your AMI completed packet work. The boxes will be outside from 9:00 to 2:00 each day this week. Please make sure your name is on the work. Also, please keep the 6 foot distancing in mind. If someone is at the box you need, please let them walk away before you drop yours off. Thank everyone!

Hello Harp Hawk Families,
We miss you, and hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy. You will get a packet in the mail with AMI materials early next week. You will have the work you need for the next 10 AMI days, plus work for an additional 10 AMI days. The additional work is “just in case", so please put it in a safe place for safekeeping. Remember, the AMI work is available online, too. You'll bring all AMI work back to school when we are able to return. Take care, stay safe and stay healthy...wash your hands...a lot!

UPDATE: The next AMI packets are set to be delivered to schools tomorrow (Wednesday). We will get the packets put into envelopes as soon as possible. We will let you know about the process we'll use to distribute the packets.(We will include completed report cards, Spring Pictures, and other documents in the envelopes as well).
NOTE: Please make sure your students are checking in their Google Classrooms (if applicable) each day. Also, participating parents should login to your Classroom DoJo daily. These are effective communications tools to use.
