The EAST initiative is a project-driven, student-centered educational model in which students are actively engaged in utilizing cutting-edge technology to complete real-world service projects within their community.

Through EAST, students are able to build community and business partnerships, take responsibility for their learning, collaborate, research and evaluate, further develop their communication and critical thinking skills, discover solutions, and demonstrate confidence in their own ability to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
