Now more than ever we see the impact educators have on our children and our collective future. We are honored to recognize some of the outstanding teachers that make our communities better.
Nominate your favorite teacher by October 11, 2020 and they could receive $500 for classroom needs!
Follow these steps:
Watch for our post on Facebook with nomination info this week.
Provide the teacher's name, school info and a sentence on what you love about this teacher.
Thank you to all of the teachers who serve our students and schools!
Free school meals are still available on the All Virtual Days, Friday and Monday, October 16 and 19. Order your meals by 9am October 16 at http://go.sdale.org/food. Families may pick up their meals from any school. Serving families is why Springdale is #TheChoice!
From the Springdale Youth Center:
Youth Volleyball registration for age divisions 9U, 11U, 13U and 15U is open and available through Oct. 19th. Cost is $40 per player and games will begin on Nov. 9th.
Youth Basketball Academy registration is open for boys and girls, ages 7 through 12, and is available until Academy sessions begin on Oct. 21. Cost is $40 per child and the Academy will run Wednesday nights from Oct. 21 through Nov. 18.
Youth Indoor Soccer Academy registration for ages 7-13 is open and available through Oct. 20. Cost is $50 and the Academy will run two 60-minute sessions per week for 4 weeks.
Parents- if you need help with childcare on the remote learning days on Oct. 16 and 19, you can contact the Afterschool Program. They will be offering all day childcare at a few school sites. Phone number- 479.756.5077; Email- info@afterschoolprog.com; website- https://www.afterschoolprog.com/
