Due to inclement weather on Friday, March 11, 2022, Springdale Public Schools will have a snow day. All School buildings will be closed.

Westwood parents- with there being a chance of snow in the forecast tomorrow, we sent home devices just in case. As of right now, we WILL be having school tomorrow. If that changes, we will send out a phone message, text, post on Facebook, etc. You can also check the district facebook/website and news stations. We did not send chargers since the weather may only affect us one day. Students should not be on devices unless an AMI day is called. We are ready for spring around here!

Buenos días, tuvimos muchos padres que faltaron a las citas de conferencias dirigidas por estudiantes ayer por la tarde/noche. Debería haber recibido una nota en la carpeta de martes de su hijo con su día/hora. Los maestros estuvieron aquí hasta las 7:00 anoche y estarán aquí hasta las 6:00 esta noche para visitarlos, así que asista o llame a la oficina para reprogramar la cita. ¡Estamos muy emocionados de tener a los padres de vuelta en el edificio!

Good morning- we had a lot of parents who missed student-led conference appointments yesterday afternoon/evening. You should have received a note in your child's Tuesday folder with your day/time. Teachers were here until 7:00 last night and will be here until 6:00 tonight to visit with you, so please attend or call the office to reschedule. We are so excited to have parents back in the building!

Our Student Led Conferences are off to a great start! Thankful our teachers were able to enjoy a yummy dinner from our parent volunteers and our Community Partner, Sonic Drive-in on Thompson Street! ¡Nuestras conferencias dirigidas por estudiantes han tenido un gran comienzo! ¡Agradecidos de que nuestros maestros pudieron disfrutar de una deliciosa cena de nuestros padres voluntarios y nuestro socio comunitario, Sonic Drive-in en la Calle Thompson!

We were so blessed to have guests from Springdale Rotary give all of our 3rd grade students two brand new books! Thanks, Rotary members!

We had some food left over from the mobile food pantry yesterday. We will be giving the rest out between 1:00 and 2:00 today if you’re interested.

Wednesday is Cat in the Hat day- wear stripes and/or a hat! El miércoles es el día del gato en el sombrero: ¡use rayas y/o un sombrero!

Hey Westwood parents- we need some help with feeding our teachers and staff next Monday. They are here until 7:00, so we like to provide a good dinner. The school is providing the main meal, but we need help with salad, dessert, and fruit.
