Don't forget that the begining of the year is your only chance to buy insurance on your student's device. Insurance is $20 and it lower's the cost if something happens to their chromebook this school year. You may purchase on the Westwood Website under parents or send $20 in an envelope with student's name and tech insurance written to top.

We're extending our Reading with Hazel event for one more week. If you have a student who didn't quite get finished with their card or lost it in the process, they can still complete the reading challenge in order to participate in the celebration. We will keep you posted and let you know when the celebration will take place. Stay tuned.

We open our doors at 7:20 am. Dismissal time is 3:10 pm everyday except Wednesday when we dismiss at 1:50 pm. Please take a few minutes to read our Parent Newsletter to find information about the upcoming week.

The Springdale Chamber of Commerce featured the 57th annual Teacher Appreciation Event on Aug. 9 at Har-Ber High School. The event included a vendor fair and some $135,000 in prize giveaways. #SpringdaleFamily
